how do I know you'll be around to take care of me?

in business since April '96, we've addressed the issue with an insured warranty
program that-in the unlikely event we go out of business-acts as a
safety net to cover any and all costs incurred for the remainder of your
warranty.
Does 1stneat.com.au cut corners on quality to save money?
No. Your cost savings result from our ultra-efficient business model, not
compromises in product quality. Because we're designing for, and marketing to,
sophisticated PC buyers, 1stneat.com.au systems are built with the highest
quality components from the same name-brand manufacturers who also supply our
competitors.
Will I be able to talk with a human being if I have a question or a problem?
Yes. Although we're committed to an Internet-centric business model as a means
of driving down costs and increasing customer satisfaction, we're concerned
about the entire customer experience. You can always call us at (02) 9386 0555,
but we think most of our customers will appreciate the easy and quick
interaction provided by our state-of-the-art Web site.
Other PC makers sell over the Web. Why shouldn't I play it safe and spend a
little more on a big name brand?
The Internet is all about choice, and in the end you're looking for a great

expectations is to empower our people to act as consumer advocates. This means
they have the authority and the responsibility to take any reasonable steps to
keep you satisfied. We also think you'll appreciate the merits of paying less

Will my 1stneat.com.au PC be as fast as the big name systems?
We design our systems based on the best performing, most reliable, and most
compatible components available. (Unlike some second- and third-tier PC makers,
we don't select components based solely on cost.) As many experienced PC users
know, choosing the fastest components doesn't guarantee the fastest system.
Benchmarks have their place, but lab performance tests don't always reflect real
world applications. We strive to be realistic in all of our benchmarking
assumptions so you can be assured of receiving a high-quality, high-performance
system that will function superlatively in a wide range of applications.
Will I be at risk by being among the first to buy an 1stneat.com.au PC?
Not at all. 1stneat.com.au's veteran management team has a well-established
track record of bringing to market well designed, fully supported PCs, and
they've improved upon the direct business model that has become the industry's

How will my 1stneat.com.au PC get fixed if it breaks? How long will it take?
Every 1stneat.com.au PC comes with an exceptional warranty.
The microprocessor and the main memory on the motherboard are guaranteed for
three years, while the remaining components (i.e., the hard drive, CD-ROM drive,
expansion boards, etc.) are guaranteed for two years. During the first year,
your 1stneat.com.au system is covered by a one-year onsite service
agreement that can be extended to three years, for a nominal upgrade charge.
Typically, once it has been determined that a component has failed during the
life of the onsite warranty, replacement parts and a technician are dispatched
to perform the necessary component replacement. Work is usually completed within
1 to 2 business days. After the onsite agreement has expired, but within the
remaining warranty period, the customer has the option of sending the unit back
to our factory for servicing.
Are you going to make me hold forever if I call you with a question?
No. In order to keep costs low, we encourage customers to contact us via our Web
site or by e-mail. You can reach us by email 24 hours a day via email at [email protected]
(for Sales), [email protected] (for
Technical Support), or [email protected] (for
Customer Service). However, if you need to contact us by phone, our technical
support lines are open 10 hours a day, seven days a week, and our sales and
customer service lines are open during regular business hours, Monday through
Saturday.
How do I know you are going to ship me my system as fast as you say? I hear
that many of the big name PC companies have a problem shipping quickly. Why will
you be any different?
Because we are a fully-automated, fully-integrated e-commerce company, we are
able to keep supplies of key components readily on-hand. We closely monitor our
sales volumes on a real-time basis. Our inventory management & production
systems will alert us of any possibility of component shortages so we can notify
our suppliers if key components might fall below our established minimum
stocking levels. Should we become aware that using a customer-specified
component will cause an unacceptable delay in the completion of the customer's
order, we'll be happy to recommend a substitute component that will allow you to
receive the system with little or no delay.
What if I'm disappointed with my 1stneat.com.au PC? Will I be stuck with it?
Rest assured, all 1stneat.com.au PCs come with a conditional 30-day money back
guarantee. If you aren't satisfied with your system, we will cheerfully refund
